I’m Emily Murphy, a lifelong student of poetry, magic, and ritual. I began practicing the Dharma and ritual as a teenager and have pursued it one way or another ever since. In the intervening twenty years, my personal studies have mostly focused on Buddhist ritual practice, and especially tantric practice; while my professional studies have centered on poetry and literature. Specific areas of focus include Hellenistic and Tibetan Astrology, Literary Modernism, The I Ching, Geomancy, Calligraphy, Asemic Art, Terma, Sansui, and Logistics.

Why offer this?
I realized a while ago that the times in my life I’ve been happiest have been when I’ve been helping people and when I’ve been more engaged in ritual practice. This project is growing out of the intersection of those two passions. May everything here be of boundless benefit!
