When obstacles proliferate, when plans go awry at the final moment, when luck is just not on your side—these are the times to fortify our success energy, our Lung-Ta. I can find no better words to describe this prayer than Mipham’s own:
Reciting this every day will bring lasting auspiciousness and will ensure that every action undertaken is accomplished without obstacle, just as one wishes. It will cause the power and strength of merit and windhorse to be greatly enhanced and renown and resources to increase. All aspirations that accord with the Dharma will succeed, and the supreme and common attainments will swiftly be attained.
All Three Jewels, Three Roots, gods, & sages,
Three Fam’lies Lords, Goddess Vijaya,
Padma Thötreng Tsal, Wisdom Holders,
Ganapati, spirits, god-armies,

I give you the All-Good One’s off’ring.
With compassion grant us your blessing!
Pacify Lung-Ta’s obscurations,
curses, tricks, bad infl’nce, obstacles,
hindrances & all disharmony:
conflict, gossip, lawsuits, & the like!
Greatly empower & strengthen the
mighty wind horse with four mir’cle limbs!
Grant attainments spirit’ll, temporal,
supreme, common—just as we desire!
On the occasion of the new year in the year of the fire horse, the gutter tantrika Soror Amrta pieced together these words from the translation prepared by Lotsawa House. May victory, success, and good fortune rain on every being without exception!
